From furnishings to jewelry, Rome shows the best of italian creativity and design
Rome debuts the Wave Market Fair, the first fair born to promote Italian creativity and design. The event takes place this weekend, October 10 and 11, 2020, at the Prati Bus District, an industrial space turned venue in the centre of Rome.
Created in 2016, the Wave Market Fair features over 150 exhibitors showing the best of Italian craftsmanship: from furnishings to jewelry, you can find unique pieces to buy yourself o give your friends as a very special gift. Also, the fair is a chance to discover new trends and meet the creators.
The fair also promotes sustainability and collaborations between new and different realities from all over Italy, that could have a cultural and social impact.
Some of the standouts of this year’s fair are Wonderalia, a company from Velletri that sells lamps built from vintage cameras; Rome is More, a social media-born brand which creates objects with typical roman expressions translated in english; Kamidō, a jewelry brand which produces accessories from recycled wood and Formespazio, another jewelry company focused on artistic manufacturing of plexiglas.
